Default Good Dogs

Really, Dad. We'll be good. We won't dig monster holes in the backyard and track mud all over the deck and turn each other into a couple of mudballs. Really!

The BIG puppy is my lab, Lord Nic. The little yellow moster is my girlfriend's new adition, born Christmas day, Vixen Noel (pic is a couple months old).

Innocent, aren't they?

 LOL! I have a Black Lab named Maggie. I think the only thing she loves more than digging is eating things that aren't edible!

Nice looking dogs crabbait. Also looks like you have a serious gopher problem in the back yard. From the look of the innocent faces of those pups they couldn't have dug those holes. Just ask them.

Great pic! I was digging fence post holes one day, and working up quite a sweat. I had about convinced myself that it was going to be virtually impossible to dig the holes without the aid of some kind of power equipment. I turned around and my lab, Norm, had dug 3 holes, twice as big as I needed, behind me in the middle of the yard. I KNOW he thought he was helping

When my yellow was a half grown pup she was watching me pull weeds in the garden. She sat intently watching for a few minutes and then you could see the light bulb come on "Oh, I can do that!". She proceeded to start pulling plants up out of the dirt. The ones I wanted as well as the weeds. After a few minutes of discussion about "No! Stay out of my garden. I said no! Ardea, I said no! You dipstick dog, I said NO!" She figured out I meant she couldn't "weed" with mommy. So she moved on to bigger and better things. She waited until I threw the weeds into the five-gallon bucket I was using and would do a drive-by snatch. That would be followed by a tuck-butt run all around the yard ending in throwing the weed up into the air and then back to the bucket for more dog games. She did this her entire life. I never could put the weeds into the bucket only once. Averaged 3.5 times per weed.

Oh when you see that picture of Vixen, you just want to take him or her home. Yellow labs are a great dog I can say from my experience with Mason and from what I have heard since adopting him.

Great looking dogs Steve. My black will dig all day if I don't get on her or entertain her with other projects. Ya gotta love puppies.
