Default Free source of smokin, BBQ, and camp wood

Hello Ifishers,
Just a short note to let you in on a good source of hardwood for various uses.
I had an offer recently from a customer that owns a production cabinet shop to come by a pick over his scrap pile.
We just got home with 1/2 a pickup load of maple, cherry and oak! He said they usually have Alder too but were out cuz they just hauled it off last week. There are sizes ranging from small blocks suitable for the BBQ/smoker to longer pieces ideal for camp wood. Most of it is only about an inch thick, but it's clean, easy to sort/stack and can be packed with the gear in the truck.
The great part is it was FREE! They actually have to pay a fee to be rid of it. So next time you need some good seasoned wood for camp, smoker or a BBQ, try calling your local cabinet shop.
