Default Stolen!!!

Hi, Im Posting Here because some low life stole my fishing gear out of my garage last saturday. They took a very precious rod that was custom made for me by my friends when my wife passed away. It was a G.Loomis st1201 granite blank, 10' 6-12 lb, casting rod. Its dark grey, with Bright red wraps with a single chrome thread on each wrap, the guides are fugi's holographic guides (multi-colored). The rod says "Custom Made by Doug Patenaude" in gold. It also says "In Memory of Rebekah Honomichl" in red. There is also steelhead decal on it. It was in a light olive green case, with a silver/grey side pouch, the rod compartment and the pouch both zipped shut. In the pouch was a Sliver Shimano Citica bait casting reel left hand retrieve. If you can give me any information as to the whereabouts of this rod I will be offering a reward for its safe return.
Also taken was a W.W.Grigg 8'-6" 17-25 lb casting rod, with a Diawa Luna reel on it. They also took my set of hodgeman stocking foot cheast waders (kaki), and a G.Loomis bag with all my steelhead gear in it. In all they took about $1300.00 worth of gear from me. I live in the salem area, so if you happen to see my cusom rod PLEASE get it back from the culprit that did this. Im very deserate to retrieve this rod above all else, every thing else i can replace. If you should find it post here and I will get you my info. I have pictures of it and if you want them i can email them to you. Please help me find this rod!!!!

That really sucks. Sorry they got such a memorable rod. Did you report it to the police? As they do drug busts they reclaim a lot of stolen property. I hope you get your stuff back.

Make up some flyers and bring a copy to each local agency. We can then go over it at briefing and we'll be sure to keep an eye out for it...This "one of a kind" stuff is easy to recognize if we come upon it during a traffic stop or in some ******** house...don't give up hope...

I don't know if you heard about it or where you live but recently I saw that Washington County made some arrests on guys that were burglarizing garages etc in Wash, Columbia County Areas. I saw the article at the Spotlight newspaper on line I believe but if you strike out there I would call the Wash Co S.O. and ask for their property crimes detective section..A long shot but worth a shot.
