Default Night fishing Q

Are there any lakes in Oregon you can fish at night legally for trout?

Hmm... ok. So why is it that these lakes are open to night fishing?

Is East Lake open at night?
I've fished there a million times in the day but never bothered to see if anyone could fish at night.

Thanks for the replies

East is not. Hour before sunrise and an hour after sunset like the rest.

My experiences in WA so far trying to catch trout at night have been less than stellar! They seem to get lockjaw right after the sun goes down- at least the places I've tried. Odd that they wouldn't eat a worm at night.

Did hook one big trout on a lighted wigglewart-lost fish and lure in the dark- trying to chase it around-ha ha- fun but didn't get to see how big it was. Haven't had a chance to try that again yet. ($9ea.!)

After sunset is when the big browns start cruising around and feeding. It can be alot of fun with a 10 pounder on an ultra light rod!
