Default Eastside maiden voyage

Finally got the Old Eastsider wet again today. Myself and a buddy from work were in my boat and Otolith and Boedy were leading the way from Oxbow to Dabney. We didn't touch a fish (except for Boedy's trophy fish but I'll let him tell about that) and didn't hear of much action to speak of. It was a pretty good day to be on the water though and my back isn't bugging me too bad just yet. We'll have to see how I feel tomorrow. Overall, it was a good trip out but a few fish would have made it even better.

It was good to meet you, Boedy, and thanks for showing me the run Otolith.

I just realized I should have said hello. I was admiring your eastside at Dabney.
I took out at the same time you did but did not have a very good day.
Hole in the waders.
Lost two (yes 2) anchors.
Broken rod tip.
I have never had an anchor get stuck before much less two in one day.
It was a nice day on the river. I saw one fish caught by a bank angler and heard of one caught by my friend (Colonel) in the blue pontoon boat.
I am trying to figure out what kind of karma I am repaying for a day like this one.

Oh yeah! I remember you. "It could be worse."
Good to see a fellow ifisher on the water. Wish you'd had a better day.

If you're not making up karma for something in the past, you're getting your dues in now for something good in the future.

Nuetron, I hear he learned them from you in the first place! Couldn't be too bad, eh? I've done a few drifts with him, he's pretty dang good on the sticks, for a Cuban!
