Default 90 HP Honda and Elect problems

When running speed everything is fine. When coming into dock at slow speed the gauges go off and when speed up a little they come back on. The motor runs fine, but the gauges have me stumped. Is it the gen in the motor or possible loose comnnection some where?/ Battery should keep the gauges on>??

More than one thing going haywire at the same time is almost a textbook example of a bad ground. Should be easy to find the bad ground, if thats the cause.

When my Honda 75 did the same thing, it was a loose nut on the negative terminal on the battery.

Checked all connection and fuses. Doesn't seem to ba a ground problem. Ignition switch?? It is only affecting the ampmeter, trim, and rpm?? Everything else works, and the engine runs fine???
