Default Broiled Albacore Tuna Teriyaki

Broiled Albacore Tuna Teriyaki

2 6-8oz tuna fillets
8oz jar teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp sesame seeds - toasted
1 bunch green onions, shopped
2 tsp fresh garlic, chopped
Pepper to taste

In a bowl mix together the teriyaki sauce, 1 tbsp of the sesame seeds, green onions, garlic and pepper. Add the tuna fillets and marinade at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Broil the marinated tuna over a medium high heat for 8-10 minutes, or until done. You can baste the tuna while cooking with the leftover marinade. Top with remaining sesame seeds and serve.

Serves 2

Recipe courtesy of The Seafood Center, Astoria, Oregon.

Default Re: Broiled Albacore Tuna Teriyaki

heres another one my friend makes it with halibut but I tried it with tuna a couple weeks ago and it was great. cut tuna loins 1-1.5" thick cook bacon until almost done still a little soggy, wrap loins in bacon, cover in wassabi terriaky on both sides and broil or barbeque. I use the barbeque and did about 1-1.5 minutes per side, it was yummy.
