Default WTB: Lead melting pot

I have lead.
I have molds.
I don't have a way to melt the lead, and no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to force the cold lead into the molds. ...Beer didn't seem to help much.

I need your unwanted lead melting pot. I don't really care if it's an electric self-contained unit, or a cast iron pot. Let me know how much you want for it. I'm in NW Portland.

your gonna laugh, when we did our own lead we used old cheapo frying pans mom was done with...... ontop of a single burner crab cooker = lots of heat!, most of our lead was old wheel weights, so it was easy to skim the crud off and get the clips out, then pour into your molds, we also did a bunch of clean stuff and let it cool in the pans we then had clean lead ingots ready for the next batch of lead, FYI stay up wind of the fumes!! and make sure the fumes are not drifting toward the kids or dog.

peace, B.

Old cast iron from goodwill and a turkey cooker outdoor propane burner... oh, while you are at goodwill, pick up a large serving spoon with slits cut in it for a slag sifter, and get a gravy ladel (NOT a gravy boat like grandma has on the table...a ladel, with the pouring spout thing on two sides) for your pouring device...
