Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
Sorry you're sweltering Marie.... but you might want to leave the thermometer OUT of the sun.
Seriously, Is it really that Hot over there? Here in Goldendale, it's only 83. It's Very unusual for you guys to be hotter than us "right-siders" but we have had a stiff south-easterly all day.
Hope the weather gets more bearable soon. And definitely keep the Iced Tea close.....
Tim

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
Funny you should ask me that..
Heres a good one!
My daughter bet me one million dollars the temp would be different if I moved the temp. gauge.
I WON!
Now I'm a millionaire!
smile,
Marie

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
Reasons why its hot here...
1) we just cut our field and its generating HEET!
2) we have an open field and its a heet generating area!
3) my thermomature guage is NOT digital.
4) we are protected on the north side with trees...which alows heet to build up today with the HOT east wind...
Hope this helps...
Thanks for asking,
Marie

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
But, Marie? It's hotter here, then there!!
At 4:22, or whenever you updated, it was 82 at your house. At my house, it was 96!
It's 5:48 right now, and 94!!!
Jen
PS, Marie? I could bring that sweatshirt over for you now, if you are getting cold!

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
I just got back from Ocean side and it was cooler there, ended up at Netarts where is was a perfect temperature.
Came home to a nice comfortable 75 degrees.
Now its 72 degrees at 8:32pm.
Lets keep track on temps tomorrow!
I noticed when I drank tons of ice tea that I was able to handle the heat a little better!
Keep hydrated, its a MUST!
Marie

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
I left Whiskey Creek Hatchery at 1:30 it was 92. On my way home my gauge in my pickup went 97-98. My back porch on the east side of house was a steady 96 until about 6 or 6;30, thats hot for this little place. You ought to see my flowers. not good. Jerry

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
According to my truck thermometer, it only got to 88 in Keta Falls today (at 3:00). Weird. I wonder how hot it was at Keta's place?

Re: Temps at Marie's HOT...HOT...HOT!~
Went down to South Beach today. The fog was rolling in and it was only about 55-60 degrees. When I got done at the CG base I headed back to P-Town on Hwy 18. Just before Grande Ronde I ran in to a wall of hot air. The temp jumped 25 degrees in about 5 miles. Freaky. It was 99 degrees in Newberg.
