Default trout spawn-lost creek lake.

was wondering if anyone can throw me a bone on when the trout at lost creek lake head up the river to spawn. what is the best way to hook these guys? i mostly fish the rogue river for salmon and steelhead. thinking it would be great to take my 5 yr old son up there...

thanks!

Not so sure it's the spawn or them just heading up to the cooler incoming flow and escape from the ski boats and jet skis. Should be getting better and better upstream as the lake temps. warm.

thanks. i heard they (the bigguns) move up there to spawn. i have about 2 gallons of cured roe and was wondering if that might be a good place to use some of it.

I would probably save the roe for steelies, I have not found a trout that could resist a good old fashioned night crawler (where they are still legal)
