I need a computer
Does anyone know about short term leases (2 months) for laptops or does anyone know where I can get an older laptop for a fair price? Speed is of no concern as I curently use a 55 mhz PS2.

I do believe that there are computer and laptop rental shops in Portland, but your choices in Klamath Falls are going to be pretty much nil. Other than eBay...

Have you tried the local site: Computer Bites?
They have an active want ads section with reasonable pricing. Check things out before you buy ~ as with all used items.

I think I'll try to find a place in Bremerton and lease one. I'm sure that the library has Internet access too. I can always grab the wife's laptop as I'm leaving and she can try to catch me.

A buddy of mine just got a "refurbished" one from Dell. I believe these are trade-ins from large corporate accounts. He got a pretty good lap top for a couple of hundred bucks.
