Default Wickiup Again

Went again Friday and took the other Twisted half, Having the privilege, maybe it was an advantage of watching FRG conk a few fish last weekend and his reports, did pretty well upon arrival with Green Hoochies boated some and lost some, couldn't get a bite on pink. Loaded the boat went to camp (Gull Point) for a good nights rest before hitting it hard on Saturday didn't happen, Someone needed my road grill more then me, Then the Karaoke started about 10:PM don't have a clue when it stopped but they had a serious sound system on the other side of the river, Very annoying couldn't sing either.
Started out Saturday with the green and lost the first three, boated three and went out the channel after finding nothing more willing Put pink back on and it did turn on and kept working until about 1:30 when we had enough, While watching her bring a fish in, I killed the motor first mistake, the wind picked up a little and I hadn't noticed, moved the front of the boat around a bit pretty soon it was obvious the fish didn't want to stay on her side, so I put the net down on the platform / dog house. Second mistake, Raised my downrigger and that wasn't good enough having 13 pulls off the clip and the ball just in the water So I stood the down rigger up locked it up, and the net went in, the fish went back were it belonged I thought No shoes No wallet No Phone, I really like my rubber net that much and it was pushing 90 out. Yes I went after, it forgot the sunglasses and the hat gathered up the Net the glasses and the hat trying to catch the boat that was blowing away with the wind and she says net my fish! And I did from in the water! Good thing for that long handle That was one of two that got cooked tonight. Glad nobody saw it but to funny not to share..... TL

Sounds like quite an adventure! We got yogi-beared up there last year. I am going to try a new trick to deter the thieves: put out a five gallon red gas can full of mostly water and enough gas to smell like gas. See how they like it later.

Glad everything came out o.k. Sound like maybe we need to start packing an equalizer with is for the theives around there! I like the idea about the gas though.
