Boat races in Newberg Memorial Day weekend

Probably a *very* good place to avoid if at all possible!! Trust me, I've lived
in Newberg for the past 25+ years and know from personal experience that this is
a "must avoid" situation.

Personally, I'll spend the weekend at the coast. Unfortunatly, I'll have to deal with
the mess in Lincoln City every afternoon driving back to the house in Pacific City
from the boat (in Dopey Bay).

Depoe Bay also has the Fleet of Flowers celebration this weekend. That's alway kind of
a nice thing to see/be a part of!
