Ding **** , the witch is dead!
No more Lakers! Just broked my heart to see Derek Fisher cry, even Kobe had teary eyes. I understand Shaq made a comment that playing the spurs would be like playing against the WNBA. Hum,
beat by girls by almost 30 points on you own home court! SEE YA!!!!

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
Nice. San Antonio is a model for what a basketball team should be, on and off the court.

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
Gus....that's funny actually. I hadnt thought about the "****" until I thought about the word that was obviously screened. Pretty funny. Is that really still used as a bad word?!?
While I am not a big basketball fan, I've always been a Spurs fan....ever since David Robinson joined. He's a class act. Plan your San Antonio vacations carefully, and you can be there for "David Robinson Appreciation Day". No, I am not kidding.
As great as I think he is, I'll still never live in S.A. again. Once was enough.

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
Have I ever told you that I like two teams?
1) The Portland Trail Blazers, and
2) Whoever is playing the Lakers!!!!
My hatred for some teams it comes it goes, but my hate for the Lakers is life long!

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
Sacramento, baby! They have the coach and GM from back when the Blazers were cool, and look what they've put together.
That Sacramento-Dallas series is a great one. Whomever comes out of it alive isn't going to have a lot left for the San Antonio series.

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
I'm not sure which one I enjoyed more yesterday, catching a springer or seeing the Laker thugs and primadona's get their rear end spanked on their home court.
They were once a class act team, but these days, they are a bunch of cocky, errogant, flippant, egotistical bunch of over paid cry babies. Shaq's better days are certainly behind him, as well as a few of his whiny teammates. About all they'll have left is Kobie and when things don't go his way, he'll whine and rag on his teammates until the team finishes self destructing - just my prediction!
Jeez, I am soooo happy to see them gone for the season. Yeah, maybe even happier than catching a springer!

It was a great night for basketball. The end of the Lakers and the Kings stayed alive.

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
Its interesting... in my statistics class last semester, for our presentations, one guy did a statistical model of past Championship winners, and then used it to predict, statistically, the winner this year. Statistically speaking, the Mav's will win it all. We'll see if it happens or not...but its interesting that they're still in it.

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
I can't really stomach the Blazers right now, but the Lakers....it's just plain sweet to see them go down. I'm with you guys pulling for Sacramento!

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
Kobe said that their off season starts right now. Maybe someone can tell Shaq that he's to report to the football field where he belongs! San Antonio just played team ball and wanted it more. Glad to see those Lickers cry! You have a nice day!

Re: Ding **** , the witch is dead!
I'm so depressed now. The King's gave it a good effort, but just weren't packing the gear with all their injuries to bump off the Mav's. Unfortunately, I think they have missed their window now. Their best shot was last year, but they blew it. Now they are likely to lose some of their bench players, and it even looks like GM Petrie might come back to the Blazers. Good for the Blazers, bad for King's fans :depressed: . Now I have to figure out if I want to root for the Mav's because they beat my team, or SA because they finally bumped off the Flakers.
Ya know, basketball was a lot more fun when I didn't have a favorite team!!
