I have been blessed to meet many ifisher's in recent months and been happy with and excited about meeting almost all of them. We are all American's, enjoy the same freedom's, and when it came down to meeting the person behind the "screen name", we were all good people!

I thought; what is going to be like meeting the Geek (TFG) when we got together for the rockfishing gig? I'm sure he edited a few of my prior post because I was out of line (or politically incorect), but it was cool. I really enjoyed myself with him and other ifisher's that day! I was tickled pink that he was the first ifisher to hook a fish and I went way out of my way to help him land it even though he could have landed it himself.

And then there was the others there that God knows what they have read where I might have made painfull mistakes!

The weird thing is; we all have different personal beliefs and political beliefs, but we are all human beings and maybe it is just me out of a majority, but I have had an experience that taught me that we are all cool people and should do things together and work out our differences on the web or otherwise.

It has been a great experience on this thread and all though I have my best friends over the years, I have met some new ones!

Got to give thanks to Barviewjetty for inviting any ifisher to camp at his house after the Tilllamook Tour and wine & dine them without ever meeting them previously! Pretty ******** cool!

Hey Russ, we'll have to do it again. I enjoyed everyone there and a few more ifisher's I have met since that Saturday. Just replied to a couple emails to a college kid and a retired Texan (ifisher's) who want to come down and give it a shot.

Going back to that Saturday, I knew one guy was a leftie and I am from the starboard side and you and the rest I didn't have a clue and it didn't matter we were there fishing together and enjoying the rare sunshine. I thought that was kinda cool sitting outside Dockside charters and eating dockside dogs bs'ing and taking advantage of the sun. :smile:

Yeah both me and the wife really enjoyed those hot dogs......nice to support the local folk as well. We are planning a trip over there for a few days after Memorial day, maybe we will see you again :smile:
