Default Line at GI Joes

I pulled into GI Joes off of Cornell? in hillsboro Saturday Morning around 8ish and was shocked to see the line outside- WOOHOO early morning fishing clinic i knew nothing about.. WRONG-- seems people had been camped out to get WWF or WWE i guess it's now called, wrestling tickets--
1st off, why at GI Joes
2nd why at 8 in the morning
3rd, just why-
My buddy and I chuckled and thought breifly about going outside and giving each other a body slam.. see if we had what it takes to get the crowd going-- no body slams, but my buddy did mush my head with THE CLAW--

I have no team, as that seems to be what's on the fashion plate of things to do. Fishing is and always has been my own individual sport.

Well, "Why GI Joe's" is easy. That's where Ticketmaster is. (trivia note- I heard Paul Allen owns Ticketmaster, but I haven't confirmed it.)
As far as the next 2 questions, I don't think there's enough sociology or psychology degrees in the world to answer those.
The Geek is the board moderator, and he started the last wrestling thread, so maybe he'll probably chime in and enlighten us non-wrestling heathens.

Ticketmaster got sold to USA Interactive. But Paul Allen did have an interest.

Hey easy now I was one of those in line for the WWE tickets. Why at GI-Joes?? Like it was said earlier that is where ticketmaster is and ticketmaster was selling the tickets. You ask why 8 in the morning? It is this stupid little game that GI-Joes plays called a lottery. Basically you draw a ticket around 8 to determine your spot in line. Then you come back and claim your spot. If you don't have a lottery ticket you stand behind all that do so you have to be there around an hour before tickets go on sale which was nine. So the reason for 8am.
As to why? Hey why do you fish? You enjoy it right? Well I happen to enjoy wrestling so that is why.

I've spent some time in long lines at Joe's in the early morning. WHY? uhhh to get tickets to a show.

I guess one man's wrestling is another man's rock'n'roll?
