Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
He'll likely go on a crime spree, hard for the law to give him a slap on the wrist!
He's also going to open a gun shop. He'll have a sale sign that reads: "SALE Arms half off"

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
I heard his wife had to cut her leg off. She has since changed her name to Eileen.
But seriously though...good thing he didnt lose all of his limbs and collapse at the doorstep of the ranger-station, or they would be wondering if his name was Matt. If it wasn't, they could just nail him to the wall and call him Art. Can you imagine though if he rolled into a pond like that? They'd have to call him Bob.
I got edited... I guess we can have some humor at the expense of some groups of people but not others?!? Ironically, another mod had no problem with the jokes.

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
You would be a little leary in telling him to fish or cut bait.
I wonder what kind of roll he got.

Oh, common Sinker, dis-arm your curmudgeony stance and have a little fun with it.
Heck, even one of the mods couldn't pass it up.

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
Leave it to you guys post some off handed remarks.
If I were this guy, I would pull my own arm off and beat you with it.
Although, I've gotta hand it to him, what a survival story. Hands down, beats anything I could ever do. A big thumb up buddy.
You guys are tastless, now I am too.

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
There's an image I didn't need...... :depressed:
I assume he was in a rocky area or something. At some point I would think you could dig out or something. There was a guy that had a log fall on him that had to do this to his foot a few years back. I think I'd have carved on the log as long as I could first.....

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
It took 13 people to move the boulder that pinned his arm down. I dont think digging was an option.

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
Why would they go back for the arm? Why would you risk injury to others to recover completely useless (decomposing tissue)? What were they looking for, a hand out?

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
Birdnest- It was either that or give the guy a ticket for littering! You can't just go and leave your body parts laying around in parks you know. Pack it in and pack it out.

Re: I would fish with this guy anytime
Ya know, I was beginning to think that the site was getting to be a little too white bread, if you know what I mean. Thank you guys, for reassuring me that that is not the case.
