Default A new seat for the motor operator on a driftboat

I've made boxes for seats, coolers with mounted seats, and a pedestal seat (like bass boats), a 4 legged seat ( like jet boats) finally this cool design. Took a 12" x 44" 1/4 5000 grade aluminum bend a angles and cut to shape. I think I am going to like this one because it does not take up much space, yes I row the boat alot, but I twist the wrist too.....

nice twist on a Koffler mount, the lower seat position could work well.

Nice! I've been sitting on an upside down bucket...your system looks a whole lot better! How have you attached it? Bolted to the gunnel?
Also, where do you get your aluminum? What do you use to cut it?
Thanks.

Got a piece of scrap from the Willie Boats 12" x 44", 1/4" thick, 5000 grade, had my custom metalworks friend cut and bend angles with his professional machines Mike Friesen 54l 476-8667,Merlin Or, it attaches of the inside of gunnel, like a hanger, you can lean back, your weight on it makes it real stable. You could bolt is down but this way you can take it out or make slight adjustments. It's pretty neat-O Every boat is different so you have to make a model(cardboard).... Why stand when you can sit...
