Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
I could tell you who Lex is but then I would be saying too much on this here website where people could use the information against me in future post/topics/forums/etc.

I've heard of those wrestlers, but never Miss Elizabeth. Her first name wasn't "Queen" was it?

Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
Not making fun of raslin'. I used to enjoy it a lot when I was a kid. I haven't a clue about the modern version really.
I can associate with names like:
(forgive spellings please)
Tough Tony Borne
Dutch Savage (went to school with his kid, Mark)
Mad Moutian Mike
Kangaroo Brothers
Von Stieger Twins
Stan the Man Staziak
Chief Bull Ramos
Andre the Giant
The White Tornado
Jimmy Snooka
Sandy Barr
Frank Botama (announcer)
Then it was Hee Haw and our night was complete.

Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
This is a very sad day for wrestling fans. I hope it turns out that Lex Lugar didn't have anything to do with her death. She seemed to be a very special person and it is even more sad to hear of someone dying at such a young age. Man, I could go on for days about wrestling. I watch it all the time and have for probably 12-15 years. Nothing like good ol' Portland wrestling back in the day. It always looked like it was taped in someones garage (It probably was!) I go to live events when I can even though wrestling has sure changed from what it used to be. :depressed:

Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
Don't forget The Shiek, Hulk Hogan(now some other hulka-mania thing), and Jesse "the body" Ventura (now governor) among others.
I still remember watching Macho Man say "no one better touch MY Elizabeth..." without ever moving his lips...?!
It is still sad to hear about this though. :depressed:

Yeah, it was Buddy, although "Bloody" or "Blubber" were just as fitting.
Last I heard Billy Jack Haynes was homeless. Nice, huh?
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper, anyone?

Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
Yes, I must chime in hear. I too watched it for the last oh about 3o years or so. My dad used to watch it and I of course had to watch hee haw too to make our nite complete in that same time era. In the early 70's I sent away for FREE tickets to the local TV station and got to watch live for the price of a self addressed evelope. Them were back in the days of Legendary Freddie Blassy, John Tolos, the wolf Man, King Goerge. Those were the days. Now you gotta to pay big Time bucks and and there quick sellouts too.
That is sad to hear about Miss Elizabeth.
Boater, Please tell me that's not true.
Wrestling will never be the same now.....
 Smily
P.S. W.W.E is coming to Portland Or, First time in 10yrs they say. May 28th I think. Get your tickets now!!!

Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
Smiley, I would like to go to the show in Portland as well. I went to the one in Spokane after Wrestlemania and it was AWESOME! The product may be down right now, but WWE sure delivers at the live events. HULK HOGAN RULES!

Re: More pain for professional wrestling fans
During the investigation police arrested Lawrence Pfohl (aka Lex Luger) for having illegal bodybuilding drugs, according to The Smoking Gun. Police don't believe that foul play was involved in Elizabeth Hulette's death, even though Pfohl was arrest a week previous for domestic abuse.
Illegal bodybuilding drugs? Whodathunkit!
