Default Wickiup 7/9

My daughter and Son-in-law fished for a little over an hour last night before being blown off the lake by an impressive thunder storm. We ended up sitting in my truck for an hour waiting for it to pass which it never really did so we loaded up the boat and headed home.

Followed T4T's report and fished pink hoochies in front of Gull Point boat ramp in 40+ feet of water. It was a short trip but we got three fish, lost one and had 3 drive bys.

The dock is almost useless right now. It has not followed the water level down and is only partially in the water.

Thanks for the report! Bummer about the weather. I'll put in an order for clear and calm for this evening!

Wow- doesn't that just figure- ya know where the fish are- you have them dialed in- life is great, and them wham!thunderstorm!

At least you got enough for dinner! That was some good action for only an hour- I'm missin' that place already.

Thanks for the report, too bad on the T-storm. But what a fishery. I am trying to figure out how to get back up this weekend. The wife has to work at the Bend Summerfest all weekend so I have both kids or I would definitely be back for a shot at some more of those beautiful fish. I cooked up a couple last night from last weekend and the flavor is fantastic.
