Sweet!
The head cheese just came in to my office, shook my hand and handed me a check for 300 bucks! Money for doing a good job he said, and since we made some money this year. It was embarassing cuz I was on ifish when he walked in . ugh, hey boss, how ya doing these days.
What should I do with the unexpected fortune. Fishing gear. Don't really need any, if you can believe that. If I tell my wife, it will likely go into the baby fund. Oh, to be irresponsible again!

Re: Sweet!
Thats way cool. Buy yourself something that you really want but would never think of spending the money on. I'm sure there is something fishing releated that would fit in there. And by the way, tell your boss everyone at ifish said "hello"

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Some fisherman you are. I have about 742,096 rods in my garage and I can still think of others that I need. Ya know, that 6 and 1/2 foot 1 weight flyrod could really come in handy some day.

Re: Sweet!
this is true, we fishing addicts always find a way to rationalize the next purchase.
Like when I bought two pontoons. "but honey, I'm buying one so you can fish with me ALL THE TIME"

Re: Sweet!
I'm doing just that. Heading down to Newport, two nights in a cozy romantic setting. I'm off for the big blue for halibut with an Ifisher kind enough to invite me along on sat.. So jonesed!!!! Back sat. night, maybe some fresh hali steaks for me and the mrs. then a relaxing day on the beach sunday. Gotta enjoy the freedom these next two months until Junior arrives. 3 days at odell over memorial weekend and then I'm officially hanging close to home.

Hey, Greenbutt!
Where's your head?
That kid's gonna need some fishing gear, you know! My son had his first rod and reel before he was a week old (and I wasn't even the one who bought them, believe it or not)

Re: Sweet!
Considering you have a new one on the way, I would take the entire $300 and buy as many spit up rags as you can. Never seem to have enough of those around.

Re: Sweet!
I'll compromize and spend half on fun stuff, half on baby crap. The kid is hooked up with fishing gear already, even have the SpongeBob fishing pole ready to go when he is.
