Hi All,
I've seen a number of threads on the board about where do I take my kid to catch their first fish, with a really high probability they will catch something. I took the family to the Fall Creek Fish hatchery (off fall creek on Hwy 34 heading toward the coast) and every year they do a kid fishing event, where they stock the heck out of Thissle pond (like 4000 fish) and then also for the little kids 5 and under they let them catch brood trout right out of the hatchery! The kids had a blast, and we brought home more trout than we could eat, so the neighbors were happy too.

I think they do this every year on the free fishing weekend. I've heard rumor some of the other hatcheries do the same thing. It was a great time for the fam, and an easy way to get little ones into fishing. I have a 4 year old daughter, and a 6 year old son.... Here are some pics of them with their fish.
