Default advice to governor

there is a article in todays medford mail tribune (online)which seems to point out a lot of the problems with the hatchery funding. some person named jim myron or somthing like that,is giving a lot of advice to the governor. to bad the governor does not ask for a second opinion.
i would have posted the link or story, but that is beyond my computer skills.

Here's a quote from Bill Monroe from the thread in the main fishing forums:

Quote:
Jim Myron wasn't the culprit here. Jim Brown made the hard decision after the team was told by budgeters they were taking the 5 million. it was up to the team to figure out how, either the general fund lump or another cross-board cut for the entire department...then it was up to the department (over the weekend) to decide how to deal with the lump hit. Myron actually told me it would have hurt worse for the department to take another (I believe he said 16 percent) percentage hit, especially considering all the matching funds involved.
