Question Suzuki Motor Service

Can anyone recommend a good shop to service a 150 hp Suzuki outboard? Cooling water doesn't seem to be discharging from the little discharge hole.

PMs appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Did you try running a tiny wire down the discharge hole? I have had them clog on mine before because little bees get in there and make a nest. You might pull the cover off and follow it back and see if it is discharging further back.

I just bought a new Suzuki from Siglers Marine, out on Marine Drive near Chinook landing. Purchasing experience was nice, and they did a good clean install.

I can't fully recommend them for service yet, though. They left the lower drain plug loose on the lower unit, and I had a puddle of oil in my driveway the day after I brought the boat home (glad I found it before I took the motor for a test drive). The owner was not pleased with his techs.

I think Sportcraft also carries Suzuki.

I just had the same problem and took the advise from several ifishers and ran a piece of wire up the discharge hole and it started peeing again. Easy fix. Good luck.

I'll give the wire in the pee-hole a try and see what happens. Kinda gives me shivers though.

I know of nothing in Salem. Glad you fixed your Zuke, from what I gathered before buying mine was you won't need service much. Badazz motors. I loooooove mine.

So I did as recommended and wired the pee hole. Worked like a charm and undoubtedly saved me a fair amount of money. Thanks for the info!!
