Default Boating clubs in the Portland area

Are there any boating clubs in the Portland area? I am looking for a group that plans trips and gives families a way to meet each other with common interests. I just can't seem to find anything like that on the web.

Sorry about that, I guess its kind of like buying lunch when you start a new job.

I have lived in the Hillsboro Oregon area for the past 7 years and because of work and going to school my wife and I haven't gotten out much. We do a lot of fishing but it is mainly for trout and bass. I am ready to catch something bigger!!! I am looking at geting a different boat because the current one, a bass boat, only carries 2 people comfortably and I have been hailed on and rained on too many times. I have a boat in mind that will allow me to comfortably fish in the NW weather and I would like to get out and meet more people that enjoy camping, boating, and fishing!

I am impressed, I didn't figure too many people knew what an RV10 was.

They aren't done designing it yet. I hope to start building it when they are done with the design and start selling the kit.

An RV10 is a 4 place airplane built by Vans Aircraft in Aurora Oregon.
