Does anybody know if they are catching anything out at dibblies beach. Was thinking of maybe a trip for some springers. Any info would be helpful

Haven't heard of any hot and heavy action yet there. The only way to find out is go and try it yourself and then let the rest of us know.

Remember, a dry hook won't catch a fish.

Dibblie's has been the best spot in the lower river so far this year. My buddies son likes to fish their. Its not red hot, but worth a try. Best day I heard of was 6 fish for about 30 people. Fishing from that beach was really good last year.

Where is Dibblee Beach? Pardon my asking, but it seems like this might be pretty general knowledge.

Just down river from Rainier on the Oregon side. I'm not sure what road takes you into the beach area But I think you have to go underneath the Lewis and Clark bridge and past the sheet rock plant. Anyone?

Haven't been there in awhile, but this is how I remember getting there. Go through Rainier and as your leaving the outskirts, there's a stoplight with a shell on your left hand side. (the light is just before the Seattle/Longview exit to go over the L&C bridge). Not sure what street that is, but hang a right there and follow that road. Then, when the road T's hang a left. You'll go under the L&C bridge and eventually see a sign for the park or rec area (not for sure what exactly the sign says ). Follow those sand roads and you shouldn't have a problem seeing the vehicles when the season heats up! The lower beach is the best...IF you get there at o'dark thirty and squeeze in between the other 200 plunkers that got there 2 hours before you did! Hope this helps!
