Default Ram Mount or Install Ideas for Furuno 620?

Looking to install a Furuno 620 fishfinder on a 20' North River Seahawk. With the steep angle on the console, I was thinking of using a Ram Mount to be able to adjust the angle of the fishfinder. If anyone has adapted a Ram Mount for a Furuno 620, which model mount did you use and what did you use for an adapter plate? Has anyone just mounted the FF on the downward sloping console using the Furuno mount? I'm concerned about glare on the screen with the unit facing upward. Thanks.

I tried using a ram mount for my Furuno radar display and it had too much vibration and was very hard to read. The mount I used was for a small GPS and I adapted the top piece to mount it so they may have something that would work but I do not like the one I have.

I have a 21' Seahawk and I mounted my GPS / FF & Radar to a piece of 1/4" x 2" x about 16" long (I am not home right now to measure) aluminum bolted to the top of the dash just above the gauges. The mount is at an angle but when the screens are adjusted fully forward they are just right.

Here is a picture of the inside of my boat you can see the displays. Sorry I don't have a better picture I had this in my gallery on here already from a year or so ago when I had the boat for sale.

Thanks Gundog. To avoid any possible vibration issue with the ram mount, like you experienced, I think I'll go ahead and bolt the FF direct to the forward downward sloping console.
