Default Three Rivers Jan. 6

Didn't see a post from William from yesterday, so thought I'd fill in. We drove through lots of ice and snow, almost no one else on the road from Grand Ronde to Hebo, and only saw 2 other guys fishing Three Rivers, and 2 other guys on the Nestucca. Drive back to Salem was almost as bad. One nice chrome little hen for William just above Hebo was our reward for the treacherous trip. Despite the crazy drive, frozen fingers, and iced up rods, heck, it was worth it.

Wow. You guys definitely earned that one. It's harsh here as is, with trees coming down all about and what not. I bet having the place virtually to yourself made it nice though!

No, I have a cheap little disposable that has a bunch of William's and my fish for the past few trips, but neither one of us has a digital. This picture from Jan. 6, however, will be great with all the snow and ice. Maybe next year one of us might be able to afford a digital. Still, the picture's in a guy's memories will always be there - what makes fishing so much fun.
