Default LBC Bulls and Browns

I will be there on a Houseboat all next week. Is it worth trying for some bulls and browns. Fishing below the kokanee schools I would imagine would be the best bet??????? Is it worth pulling a herring off the rigger thios time of year?

I think it would be worth a try. What else are you going to do?

A few years ago we did the same vacation. But I rented a jet ski. I would take off up the Metolius arm in the morning and troll with a streamer. Caught a few bull trout. But I couldn't believe all the kokes! It was like you could have dipped a net in and caught some. Amazing.

Lake Billy Chinook, outside of Madras. Much more known for it's bull trout and kokanee fishing but there are some nice browns if you know where to look.

Pretty much none, the banks are basically all sheer cliffs or very steep, there are campgrounds, boat launches or Marinas nearly everywhere that you can comfortably walk up the bank without being a mountain goat.
