Question Buzzing noise

Hi guys
I have 1984 Seanymph Fish-N-Ski with 70hp evinrude I bought last year, it ran fine until last week end while running I hear a buzzing noise coming the throttle every minute also, this is the sound that I hear when I turn the key.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Not sure about Evinrudes but on my Mercury, the buzzer means one of 2 things. A steady buzzing means low oil level, an intermitent beep means high-temp. Does it have a good stream of water coming from the tattle tale hose? How old is the water pump? are the thermostat/s gunked up? How do the wires look that come from the temp sending unit? Does it mix its own oil? how does the level look in the tank? How about the screen on the bottom of the pickup tube from the oil tank look? There is a few things to check. I'm no expert but I have had all those problems before. Good Luck

Now that you mention it, I think the oil is a little low, but I'll check for everything you just mentioned.

Thanks

2-stroke oil? On my motor it beeps when your level is low. If it were really low it would beep constantly. As the boat rocks, the oil level goes above and below the sensor level thus causing an intermittent beep.
Happy boating to you.
