Just a quick report from the lake... fishing has slowed. I have been here for 10 days and have caught fish every day. I have only been fishing in the afternoons for 2 or so hours when the wind is up because the bugs are in full bloom. Not the worst I have seen but quite a few. I have been fishing powerbait in Chartruese, Corn and Cheese flavors on the weed lines in about 20-21ft of water. Fish are running about 18 inches on average and fat. Sorry for no pictures but left the camera cord at home. Thanks to Diamond Lake Resort for the free Wi-Fi to give this report. Oh yea, the weather has been wonderful!
Thanks for the report. I will be there tomorrow through the weekend. I will be fishing all day hopefully (3.5 yr olds first boat trip). He loves to fish so I hope we can get several hours of fishing in per day.
