Default Tempress Boat Seats - Feedback Needed

I'm upgrading my seats. I have an open sled, and the seats are going on top of boxes. I need the best, sturdiest, longest lasting seats I can get.

The Tempress website has a few different options - any opinions?

Best

I have always used the all weather tempress seats, very tough and very comfy. The nice thing about them is the quick disconnect feature, that way you can buy a couple extra bases and just move them around the boat to fit your needs.

Can't tell you about tempress, but I bought some seats off ebay that looked very simular. The seller said they were seconds from Tempress (ie badly sown seem, material didn't match). Anyway I got them and both seats broke on the first outting. Absolute crap. They had to be chineese knock off's. Tried to get my money back from Ebay, no dice... Lesson Leaned.

So I bought some of Cabella's cheap seats. They rock. I think they were only like 70 bucks apeice out of the bargan cave. Comfortable and they have taken a beating without any ware shown...

You can buy the bases also and not use tempress seats. Mine Cabella seats are sitting on tempress bases.

Good luck!

My Tempress seats are great! I wish I could find newer covers,
as mine are getting to the replacement time, from '87'.

Thumbs up Re: Tempress Boat Seats - Feedback Needed

Love 'em!

The wife and I just ripped out those stupid bench seats, had Joe Koffler build some boxes and we put Tempress on top of them. Now she's mad at me for not doing it sooner.

I prefer the lowback type for my slouching posture. The high back forces a fella to sit straight up with what feels like a slight forward lean. It gets irritating, especially after hours of slow fishing.
