Tie the bottom hook in the usual manner. Run the standing line through the eye of the second hook and tie the same knot as the bottom hook with a second piece of line. Tighten but do not overtighten and trim the ends.

Keta had a good pic' of the knot. Try a search on mooching hooks. The topic was around the middle of this month.

You might want to use Dacron to tie the slider or you'll burnish the leader line.

I normally use a solid tie, but if/when I would run a slip tie I use fly line backing/dacron

there is a super easy way to tie the sliding hook.

tie your first hook with a snell or bait holder then slide the leader thru the eye of your second hook then take a dacron bobber stopper and slide it down to the eye of the top hook slide the knot off the little straw and over the shank of the hook and pull on both ends of the bobber stopper knot.
