I\'m in BIG trouble! Can you help?
So here is the situation....
Last fall I discovered dry rot in the cabover portion of my class C motorhome. Took it to the shop for an estimate. After I regained consciousness from their estimate they suggested to get the insurance to cover , but no go. So after some encouraging and offering of assistance from friends, I decided to fix it my(read our) selves. But from those who offered to help the assistance has been minimal and I admit I don't do carpentry work. Just not a skill I have learned.
So to speed this up, the wife is screaming to get it completed in time to use it for Memorial Weekend. She said I spend(t) too much time fishing for steelies and chinookies.
I would say the current status is I have it about 3/4 torn apart and can see where the wood needs replaced. I can send pics to see the current status.
So here is the offer, if any of you know this type of work, I would appreciate any and all assistance. I will supply all materials. For your time and effort, we can work out compensation, to include everything from trades (including free use of the rig) to cash, nothing is off the table. The vehicle is indoors in Sandy.
Let me know if you are willing to help.
