Red face East lake weekend

Enjoyed East Lake this weekend. Arrived Thursday and attempted to locate the fish. Spent Thursday and Friday working the South side and trying everything in the tackle box with no sucess. Didn't see many nets working either. Same thing Saturday morning. Then after speaking to a couple gentlemans advise, I went to the East side at 30'. I also had my wife, her friend and our S. Korean Exchange student with me. In 2 hours we had 10 in the boat ranging from one at 12" and the largest being a 18" rainbow. Most at the 14-15" range. Sky was clear, lake was smooth, and I was not at work.............Ahhhh.

I went up to East on Saturday afternoon. I hit the water about 4:30.
I figured I would go get a quick limit of kokes and then spend the rest of the evening chasing browns. There were a lot of boats on the water at least 40 which is a lot for East. The weather was great no wind at all.
I drifted over the kokes on the North east corner of the lake in about 30 feet of water and they were sitting at about 22-25 feet. I was jigging with a gibbs. They were biting but not as fast as I thought they would. It took me till 6:30 to get the fifth on in the boat. There were at least 6-7 that did not want to come into the boat LOL. I was itching to get to trolling for the browns. I got started and trolled for hours with nothing hiting at all.
I kept in mine that it only takes one. I said that over and over and over.
I was getting very discouraged and was making my last pass and heading for the boat ramp and at 9:00pm wham finally brown on. In the boat came a nice scrapy 20" brown. Well ofcourse this got my blood running again and with in the next 20 minutes I landed two more 19" browns. All were sent back to become big browns. Then is was getting dark and had to call it a night.
