Default Trailer Tire Rub

I have a torsion axle trailer that at some point on the way home yesterday has started to allow the tire to rub on the fender. From what I have been able to find, it is a remove and replace situation. Anyone else ever have this problem and how was it fixed?

What kind of torsion axel?

I potentially had the same problem but I noticed it before it became one. I simply had to pull the arm, move it a cog or two and reinstall. Presto...no problem.

I adjusted the arm a couple of splines, put it back together, jumped up and down on the trailer and its right back were we started. According the trailer manufacturer it is a failed axle and is out of warranty. $225 for a new one.
