Good article Straydog. Keeps things in perspective. It is not a video game! As I was reading the article I started thinking of the TV show M.A.S.H. As far as the kid thing, I don't totally disagree with you. I don't think you would want to tell them they are a kid however. You would probably have a disagreement. The article goes as far to say; "These are young children. I totally disagree with that statement and find it misleading. These are young adults is the fact of the matter. Anyway, pointless. I know when we get our age, we do look at them as and call them kid's.

As I said, good article. Helps to keep things in perspective.

I still think us ifisher's should go out of our way and show some appreciation and support for our troops and their families. We've talked about it, but haven't done a thing.

As a medic, I saw many training injuries. We always prepared for the mass casualty situation. I never had more than a couple of patients at a time, though. I can't imagine having that many people coming to the hospital. But I guess they get them all funneled in. It sounds to me like they need more doctors. It's always been a chore to attract them. Pay is low, much less than for civilian doctors. They are true patriots, regardless of their politics. They belong in our prayers.
