Re: Cool story....
Wow!! Now we are talking hero status.
Just think how many good, decent human beings such as this will likely be written off as 'collateral damage' when this is all over.
Thanks for sharing this story!

Re: Cool story....
Anywhere you go you will find a few good people. Altruism like this is much more rare. I'm guessing that the Marines are giving them (man and his family) the royalty status they deserve. Lets hope he can realize his dream of going home and enjoying freedom from the despot and his henchmen.
I would share a boat with him anytime. You have to believe that Iraq has many basically good people living there. With men like this lawyer to lead them, they are destined for greatness.

Re: Cool story....
It's people like this that should be given any desire they wish. I mean anything!!!
And people say the Iraqi people don't want us there
My brother-in-law was in Kuwait twice while in the Marines. He said the people in the city hated them (I got some story about them getting off the ship and gettin outta town as quick as they could) but he said when they got to the country that the people would come up with big smiles on there faces and shake their hands. Point at them and hold up one finger showing them they were No. 1. No not that finger!!!! They loved the Marines.

Regardless of why the government entered the war, that article is justification enough for me.
Mohammed is welcome in my house and my country anytime!

Re: Cool story....
I wonder if he likes fresh spring chinook? I would have no problem making a dent in my freezer for that guy.
