Default Can anyone tell me what my rifle is worth?

I've got a 1965 Winchester model 70 .270 that I would like to know how much it is worth.
I've looked at several websites and can't seem to find one around the same age to get an idea of what it is worth. Anyone know where I can find this info?
Thanks in advance!

I would PM baltz526. He is definitely in the know. There are a couple other guys that could give some solid advice as well.

I'm thinking this figure might be high. Without a scope I'd bet no more than $350. The big fuss is over the pre-1964 model. This one, while vintage, was built after the dramatic manufacturing changes that lowered the perceived quality of the model 70.
Have you done a search on gunbroker?

The pre-64's are worth the most. You could call Cabelas. They helped me with mine.

I was thinking that since Winchester is out of business and supposedly not making the 70 anymore, it might be worth and extra 50-100. Some people are jumping all over them as collector items already.
