Default Another John Day Question... Waders?

We have our raft rented and are going to float from Clarno to Cottonwood next week the 22nd thru 27th. Never caught a smallmouth before but think we have enough lures for 10 trips. Question is should we bring waders or just wading shoes ? I will post report when we return. Just me and 15 year old daughter going

Thanks

I wouldn't bring the waders unless you have extra room on the raft. Not a good idea to wear them in a raft, PFD yes. You could use them before and after rafting but don't think you would need them. Water should be warm enough if you felt the need to wade. Don't forget the camera as you should get into a mess of bass. Sounds fun and if your daughter is anything like ours she will out fish you in such a grand way!!!

Wrangler *****'s and Keds wading shoes! Not only effective but you look so good doing it. Beside's Real men really need to expose those white legs to some sun once in a while!

EDIT:

Ok, how about Wrangler short chaps!
