Default Shad on the Umpqua
Just wanted to know if anyone has been shad fishing on the umpqua and if there are many being caught.

Caught some a couple weeks ago at yellow creek, probably better now up higher towards the town of Umpqua. Going down Saturday to float it...

I fished Yellow Cr. last Sunday and was about the only one there. Caught some smallmouth but no shad.
