Annual Daughter / Dad Trip ... Advice?

Headed up to the John Day for our annual trip. Anybody have a bass/ crappie/catfish/rattlesnake report for the lower JD near or above the boat-in campground. Our daughter is 20 now..she still loves to go with dad...imagine that!

Bad year for snakes this year.....There was a catfish report recently that looked like the JD is fishing well.

Sorry no report from me as I have not been up there at all this year. Glad you little girl still enjoys going on her annual daddy/daughter trip.

I went up for awhile this past Monday afternoon. Wind was awful! Only caught a few small cats and one small bass. Got the bass on a shrimp fishing for cats. Had crawdad molting juice on it.
