Call ups
My brother-in-law got out of the Marines about 2 years ago and is in the inactive reserves. He got a letter several months ago stating that he couldn't get out of the reserves until further notice. Just the other day he got a call from the USMC and was told he is on 72 hour standby. If they call he has 72 hours to grab is seabag and report to the processing center in Seattle.
Then today I drive by McChord Air Force Base and see a Northwest Airlines 747 sitting on the tarmac with the stairs rolled up to it. Last Thanksgiving I drove by and seen the same thing when we were sending troops to Afghanistan.
I wouldn't say anything about this due to security but you can see the sucker from the freeway. So at this point there's thousands of people that have seen it.
