these was at one time, years ago. i heard they got poisoned a while back to keep people out of there. but that may be a rumor. if your talking about the ponds i think your talking about they are privately owned by a gravel company. its been 8 to 10 years since i fished back there as a kid, but some rif raf started showing up and they posted them and thats when i was told all the fish were poisoned. Hopefully someone will chime in with some more up to date info.
Yes their is bass in them. BIG ONES too. . Don't even think about trying to access them. I used to work for the owner, and let's just say in my time their not one person was allowed to fish in them. It's a shame, but their is A LOT of very heavy equipment that run around those gravel pits.
