This is a spin off the end of another thread, but an important topic no less.
While we have primarily associated WMDs as Bio/Chem/Nuclear weapons, they are technically any of the weapons outlawed by previous UN resolutions that could be used for "offensive" strikes beyond the borders of Iraq or for purposes other than self defense.
So far, confirmed reports of SCUD missles being fired have been the only evidence that we know of. Iraq has repeatedly denied having any SCUD missles. Conclusion...they lied...again.
How many more SCUD's or other non-authorized UN weapons they have who knows. :whazzup: I did see a report that one unit of troops was investigating a suspected WMD site, and had not reported back on what they had found.
While certainly a "small" discovery, the presence of SCUD missles confirms what some have suspected. Saddam/Iraqi leaders have been lying.
