If the weather isn't horrible this PM I am taking a couple guys from work. I will let you know what I see. I was there 10 days ago and most of the camp sites were open where I launched. Didn't go to the east side and didn't pay much attention to the lodge area either.

Was just up there on Monday. The dock is now in, and the camp host is clearing the campsites of downed trees. The snow is about gone around the lake. Fishing has been great...both times up so far has produced easy limits. Have had success both trolling and jigging. Good Luck!

Made it up last evening. Very wet. The storm seemed to stall right over the area. The only good things were no wind and no lightning. We launched and set up. Ended with a couple limits. Bite actually seemed to be better in the rain. When the rain stopped about 7 the bite really slowed. Had a couple guys with me that had never fished for kokes but they seemed to get the concept pretty well. Trolled mostly, tried a variety of things, all fish caught on hootchies or crappie tubes though. Spent 15-20 minutes jigging right before 8 and picked up a quick 3, didn't hit the Gibbs but I had a 1/2oz crescent sinker with fingernail polish on that seemed to get all the love.

Campsites all look clear. This weekend looks pretty bad weatherwise so good luck and anyone going up bring raingear.
