Pb for me !!!

So I was suppose to go fish davis this weekend but i was not feeling well enough to leave. So me and my buddy stayed in town saturday night and were planning on going out this morning. While i went home and went to bed, he went out and got DRUNK. So this morning, after calling him and stopping by his house with no luck at waking the drunken sailer i went alone......

This was the only hit I got all day. I was fishing and saw DJD pull up just as he called me. I told him I was sick of all the weeds. He said there is a deep ledge just to the south east of me a few yards. so i moved over it with the graph and sure enough. Backed off a few yards and started to cast to the bank and pull my 1/2oz white willow blade spinnerbait back. after maybe 4 cast, BAM! Dan had to help for the Photo and release of the fish. 7lb 4oz

Nice one BH. That is real pig. You are a trooper to get out there not feeling well. Good job man. Her tail looks red. Was she spawned out? Because she sure has a big ol gut.

It looked to me like she already dropped and JUST left her bed. She was of a ledge that went from 2.5ft down to 10ft then again down to 20ft. I think she picked up my bait in apprx 13ft of water. But I am not a biologist nor a hawg bass so i dont know for sure.
Also I expected that water to be 70+ degrees by now, but it was only 64-5. I dont know what to think anymore with all this CRAZY weather.

Honestly she didnt fight that good. She did take a couple good runs for deeper water but it was over sooner than I liked.

And yes shedhead, it was that same guy.
