Default electrical clips

When I bought my sea hawk the prior owner had installed truck seats with air ride bags each seat has its own mini compressor. problem is the clips for the ground and power keep on falling off the male post on the mini compressors .I have tried pinching the female part of the clip but it still falls of. Any ideas on how to keep the wires from falling off. the clips are just the basic automotive type.

One option is to use the adhesive type heat shrink and slide it over the connector and wire, then crimp the female connector such that you have to force it on the male spade, then slide the heat shrink over connector to the base of the spade and melt the heat shrink around the connection. Then use wire ties to ensure the wires are not able to bounce around.

I would also check the range of motion on the seat (forward, backward, up, down, rotate, if applicable) to ensure the wires are not impacted.

Cool Re: electrical clips

If there is a hole in the male spade tab on the compressor , they make a locking type of female for this application ...
