Dave Johnson "Celebrity" Chrome (Pictures)!!

Dave Johnson and I met up for the first time in about seven years to go pound the banks a little father north of the over rated zipperlip.......

Dave lost the first one to an unfortunate twist of line around rod tip...

Several casts after Dave lost his fish I landed this nice native...

This bueaty fell to Dave's good advice and my custom float, painted beads, and new egg cure.....
Here is Dave's first fish... Didn't fight to well though...Darn hatchery fish anyway....

Measured this beast at 37" X 19" only hatchery adipose clip and no apparent marks to explain premature mortality......

No really...... here is Dave's first landed fish that was very spunky and really fought hard......

Very nice native buck! Notice that both fish had seal or sea lion marks on them... need I say more...

It was truelly a pleasure fishing with Dave again... He is an awsome fisherman with amazing amount of fishing and fisheries knowledge

and a truelly nice guy too boot...

I always have a great time fishing with Ty, we spend almost the whole time bouncing ideas off each other, discussing biology, and sharing information. He has the same passion for fishing and the fish that I do.

Ty is like several great fisherman I call friends because he's never satisfied with his good success but he's always trying to build a better mouse trap to improve the success and up the odds. Skill, attention to detail and a willingness to try something else catch him more fish than any secret spot ever will.

Oh, and I sure wish that "smoker" was a little fresher, he would have fought better :shocked:

Sounds like a great day.

TY did you use your new rod? What makes a great day better is to use a new rod and find out it knows how to catch fish.

I used my new rod.. and with Dave watching I farmed off a chance with it too.... :whazzup:

But... For those that THINK high end rods are not worth it.....All I have to say is try one... and thinkg will never be the same.....

Yeah your right suppose that is my fish...... I love to find stuff like that and take pictures of it for the people back in computer world....
