Apology for a previous thread

I was in the process of editing my post containing the sentence "I hope you lose family members to terror and then maybe you'll be singing a different tune" when the thread was closed. I would just like to say that was uncalled for and I apologize. I have a friend who lost a relative in the 9/11 attacks and I was venting his point of view. Once again I apologize.
